Weekly PlayRank
The Weekly Competition Engine

Weekly PlayRank is a weekly ranking competition run at a single venue or community. Players play several times across the week to collect wins and points.

At the end of the week, the system tallies every match result and sets the final ranking. The best-performing player becomes that week’s champion.

  • Ranking is decided by number of wins.
  • If wins are tied, ranking is decided by point difference.
5
Create a PlayRank

Click Start The Match, then set:

  • Number of courts
  • Category (Men or Women)
  • Player level
Important: don’t mix multiple levels in one PlayRank. Example: Upper Beginner vs Upper Beginner, or Upper Bronze vs Upper Bronze.
6
Add Players

Search the player’s name in the search box. If not found yet, click Add Player. Use at least 2 words per name to avoid duplicate player data.

✓ Budi Santoso ✓ Kevin Wijaya ✕ Budi ✕ Kevin
7
Run the Match

Once all players are in, the system recommends a minimum number of matches so everyone gets balanced playing time. Follow that recommendation.

8
Update If Anything Changes

9
Share Results

Once all matches are done, share the results with the WhatsApp Share button so everyone can see their ranking and match results.

Weekly PlayRank

The Weekly Competition Engine

A recurring ranked competition played throughout the week within a single venue or community. Players join multiple sessions, earning wins and points along the way. At the end of the week, the player with the strongest overall performance claims the top spot.

Basic Rules

✓One level per game — e.g. Upper Beginner only, Upper Bronze only.
✓New players start at the level you set. Anyone already in the Trekkr engine keeps their existing ELO and level.
✓Men's or Women's only — one session is a single gender (clean per-gender ranking & T1/T2/T3).
✓Tennis scoring is required.
✓Individual (rotating partners) — the engine rotates partners every round.
✓1 court → Americano (everyone partners everyone) · 2+ courts → Mexicano (courts split by ranking for a sharper rating).
✓Everyone plays an equal number of matches — the engine tells you when that's reached.
✓Ranked by wins. Ties are broken by point difference.

Game Level

What level is this match played at?

ℹ️ Directly sets the starting level for new players. A first-time player starts their Trekkr rating at the level you pick, so the first round is already balanced. Players who already have a Trekkr rating are unaffected.

New players start at Lower Bronze · ±1350 ELO
